We introduce Julien De Bels (QSE Technician) in a short interview about his mission at REAZN.

WHO ARE YOU?

Hello, I’m Julien De Bels. After a BTEC in business unit management, I was a ready-to-wear shop manager for 7 years. As a man of the field, I preferred to move into logistics and became a forklift operator. I joined the REAZN team in March 2021 as an oven operator. After one year as an operator, I was given the opportunity to evolve and take on new duties in the QSE department. Following specific training, I could became a prevention advisor.

WHAT’S YOUR MISSION IN THE COMPANY?

My main mission is the safety of the factory and the quality of the finished products, so I’m out in the field every day. As a prevention advisor, I apply the occupational health and safety code. I initiate and manage training (internal and external), I take care of safety displays, PPE, quality controls, report anomalies, etc. Last but not least, I make sure that we keep our ISO certifications.

WHAT IS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF YOUR JOB?

Enforcing safety with the changing legislation requires a lot of energy. You have to be very adaptable. It’s a constant challenge, it’s very diverse and that’s what drives me too.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING AT REAZN?

I like the daily challenges and the diversity of my field of action. No day is alike.

I like the atmosphere of the factory, the colleagues, and the easy human relations. People understand and apply the rules, they play the game and that’s what my job is all about.
