MEET THE TEAM
Introducing Frédéric Marcant (Project Manager) in a short interview about his mission at REAZN.
WHO ARE YOU?
Hello, I am Frédéric Marcant. I started my career in 2002, as a metallurgical engineer in the tin and lead recycling industry. One year ago, I decided to jump from my previous job, as plant manager in the lead recycling where I enjoyed the last 20 years, to the world of zinc recycling.
WHAT’S YOUR MISSION IN THE COMPANY?
I am in charge of the management of all REAZN projects, mainly (but not limited to) technical projects. I help or take charge of the different processes in designing the projects, following them, managing the changes and, in the end, checking that we reach the original aim of each project.
WHAT IS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF YOUR JOB?
Continuous improvement is the real way of thinking at REAZN so there are always a lot of projects in progress and we have to adapt every day to new situations. Managing all the resources, planning and interfacing the different internal or external involved processes is a daily and wonderful challenge.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING AT REAZN?
Our goal is clear: promote and increase the amount of high-quality sustainable zinc alloys on the market. I discovered that this goal is shared by everyone in the company and this allows all employees to work closely together. Easy and friendly communication, space for all ideas and quick decisions create a very nice working atmosphere in which it is a pleasure to evolve and do a part of the job for sustainability.
