We are an international group with subsidiaries in Luxembourg, Belgium and the UK, manufacturing and distributing prime grade zinc alloys with a strong focus on sustainability. This is the opportunity to join a well-established and growth oriented company in Luxembourg. We are actively looking for a dynamic profile to fill in a position of Account Manager Sales, to work closely together with our teams in Europe and the UK on a permanent full-time basis. The position would be located in our Strassen offices, Luxembourg.

Your tasks & key responsibilities
  • Follow up on the execution of contracts
  • Manage the relationships with existing customers
  • Interact and collaborate between the subsidiaries of the group
  • Regular travel to existing and potential customers is required for this position
  • Develop new markets and prospect potential customers
  • Report the KPIs to the management
  • Supervise the logistical operations and their execution
  • Execute LME (London Metal Exchange) price-fixations and average-calculations, according to the contractual price formula and to the related LME and currency hedging files
  • Follow up on LME and currency hedging files
  • Monitor the credit exposure of the customers and assure that sales are done within the policy defined by the company
  • Manage the sales forecast of the assigned accounts
  • Assure the orderly execution of the sales contract
  • Collaborate closely with the Sustainability-Team to implement the Group’s targets
  • Promote the circular-economy of zinc alloys
your profile & skills
  • Education: University degree or similar
  • Fluent in at least 2 of the 3 following languages: English, German and French, both spoken and written. Any other language is a plus
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • High level of initiative and proactivity
  • Service minded attitude towards customers’ needs and expectations
  • Team player
  • Experience in a similar position is considered preferable
  • Experience with the LME (London Metal Exchange) and knowledge about metal pricing and currency exchanges and conversions is considered a must have
  • Valid driving license
