Melting & Casting Planning Coordinator
The REAZN Group is the world’s leading recycling expert for high-quality, custom-made primary zinc alloys. We employ 130 zinc specialists across multiple countries and produce more than 100,000 tons of zinc alloys annually for around 400 customers worldwide. REAZN recycles valuable waste materials to supply the industry with zinc alloys that have up to 97.5% lower CO₂ intensity compared to primary zinc producers.

What will you do as a Melting & Casting Planning Coordinator?

🕓 Full-time | 🏭 Overlapping with 5-shift operations
Are you an experienced planner who thrives in a dynamic production setting? Do you have a talent for adjusting production schedules on the fly and coordinating smoothly between departments? Then this opportunity as Melting & Casting Planning Coordinator is the challenge you’ve been looking for!
Your role: Pure planning
This position is entirely focused on planning. You ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently—even as conditions change throughout the day. With a high volume of raw materials and a complex production flow, it’s your job to maintain oversight and keep the plan on track.
Important:
- You are not expected to be a raw material specialist.
- Your core responsibility is to focus 100% on planning and continuous optimization.
Your responsibilities
- Develop daily, weekly, and long-term production plans based on sales orders and raw material quality.
- Adjust the production planning multiple times per day (sometimes hourly), depending on raw material availability and quality.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments such as Production Teams, Maintenance, Logistics (Inbound / Outbound)
- Ensure the furnaces keep running optimally by responding quickly to machine breakdowns, staff shortages, or material delays.
- Provide regular reporting on planning-related KPIs and production indicators.
What we expect from you
- Proven experience in metal industry or with similar planning processes (such as food industry, …).
- Flexible, stress-resistant, and quick-thinking in changing situations.
- Strong affinity with production environments and an understanding of the importance of operational continuity.
- Excellent communication skills and a true team player who can efficiently gather and process information.
- Experience with planning tools and/or ERP systems is a plus.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of managing complex production schedules with confidence.
- Metal industry background is a plus.
- You can express yourself fluently in English, in addition, knowledge NED/FR is also a plus.
