Your mission
As a Forman Inbound you manage the entire operational logistics flow (20 to 30 trucks daily) at the unloading quay, You work closely with the Inbound Supervisor and the Front Office department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
You manage two teams working in a two‑shift system, responsible for unloading various types of trucks (containers, tipper trucks, self‑unloading trucks, etc.), as well as sampling, analysing, sorting, and storing raw materials.
You are present on the work floor 90% of the time, with the remaining 10% dedicated to administrative tasks. In addition, you are responsible for the daily and weekly planning, based on raw material stock levels and production requirements.
What will be your responsibilities?
- You are responsible for the entire logistics flow, in other words, you work with your team leaders on the daily flow of trucks to be unloaded. You ensure that the trucks circulate smoothly and that the raw materials are unloaded at the correct location, following internal procedures.
- You organise the unloading quay according to the expected arrival of the raw materials and are in daily contact with the Front Office Department.
- You draw up a clear report of the unloaded raw materials, which means that each unloading order must be processed administratively in collaboration with your team leaders.
- You are also responsible for the raw materials that need to be analysed, sorted and put on hold, and you report to the Inbound Supervisor.
- You regularly align with the Production Department to determine which raw materials may be used in the production process.
- You ensure an optimal distribution of work, are actively present on the work floor and intervene where necessary.
- You will provide temporary replacements within the team in case of urgent need. Experience with forklifts and/or heavy machinery is a plus.
- You will contribute to the personal development and safety awareness of your entire team, which is essential.
- You will manage your team by communicating regularly, setting up training programmes and keeping the competency matrix up to date.

- You are flexible and do not have a strict 9‑to‑5 mentality.
