Your mission

In collaboration with the Procurement department, you will manage the entire logistics flow (20 to 30 shipments daily) at the unloading quay. You will be responsible for managing two teams (two-shift system) in charge of unloading the various trucks (containers, tipper trucks, self-unloading trucks, etc.) and storing the raw materials. You will also be responsible for weekly planning based on raw material stocks.

What will you do?
  • You are responsible for the entire logistics flow, in other words, you work with your team leaders on the daily flow of trucks to be unloaded. You ensure that the trucks circulate smoothly and that the raw materials are unloaded at the correct location.
  • You organise the unloading quay according to the expected arrival of the raw materials and are in daily contact with the logistics dispatch centre in Luxembourg for this purpose.
  • You draw up a clear report of the unloaded raw materials, which means that each unloading order must be processed administratively in collaboration with your team leaders.
  • You are also responsible for the raw materials that need to be analysed, sorted and put on hold, and you report to your manager.
  • You regularly align with the production department to determine which raw materials may be used in the production process.
  • You ensure an optimal distribution of work, are actively present on the work floor and intervene where necessary.
  • You will contribute to the personal development and safety awareness of your entire team, which is essential.
  • You will manage your team by communicating regularly, conducting evaluation interviews, setting up training programmes and keeping the competency matrix up to date.
What do we expect from you?
  • Relevant experience in a leadership role within a logistic (industrial) environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Navision.
  • Results-oriented.
  • A natural leader with strong people management skills.
  • Proactive, communicative, and fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

What do we offer you?
  • Competitive salary
  • Meal vouchers
  • Eco – cheques
  • Profit bonus
  • Collective labour agreement – 90
